Ghanaian singer and rapper Mohammed Ismail Sharrif, professionally known as Black Sherif, is the only musician from Ghana to have amassed 1 billion streams altogether across all music platforms as of April 2023.
He released three critically acclaimed projects, The Villain I Never Was, Second Sermon, and First Sermon, and the 21-year-old was successful in getting music listeners to stream his song on a number of music streaMIng platforms, including iTunes, Audiomack, Boomplay, Spotify, Deezer, and Youtube.

The 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards have nominated Black Sheriff for Artiste of the Year, and it is said that he is a brilliant singer who worked very hard, which is why he was successful.
