Seun Kuti has revealed the reason he had slapped an officer of the Nigerian police force who had stopped his car.
Afrobeat singer, songwriter and performer Seun Kuti has revealed the real reason he slapped a police officer part of the Nigerian police force when he stopped his car to be searched. The singer revealed that the police officer had tried to kill him and his family, which was why he slapped him.
The viral video had shown the incident and what had occurred which triggered numerous reactions from Nigerians on social media.
Seun Kuti's post read:
“He tried to kill me and my family. I have the proof but I no dey chase clout. He has apologized and I have agreed not to press charges. Make una mind una business make the poor guy no lose his job”.
